My name is Michael Cvet, and I’m a software geek from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, currently living in San Francisco.
I’m currently a hacker at Greplin. I formerly worked at thoora.com as lead software developer and co-founder, where I built all kinds of stuff; from writing parsers to implementing data mining systems. Before that, I worked at Red Hat. I graduated from the University of Toronto, studying Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences.
I like arguing about politics and music, but most of all, software, computer science, and the industry behind them. When I’m not playing the devil’s advocate on any given subject, I’m trying to plan my next trip somewhere including mountains, trees, and oceans.
