Today, Byron and I spent all day at the University of Waterloo interviewing potential interns. We had quite a variety of people with different (and impressive) backgrounds in computer science, mathematics, and engineering on hand for a technical discussion and some information about life working at Thoora.
Now, I don’t particularly like interviewing people, but I do enjoy talking to smart people. These people were smart. I was very impressed with the students, and actually had a reasonably good time under the circumstances.
Oh, and of course, followed up by an obligatory visit to the Mongolian Grill. Who knew that grilled Asian food wrapped in Mexican tortillas would turn out so well?
